What is the interest in Pinterest? Okay, here you GO!

The lightbulb might have gone off. On a three way, it was initially at the low setting but now we are at the third click.

Okay, it took a while.

So I just saw Leslie Ebersole's Pinterest rendition that makes you want to head her way to her home town turf.

That was the first lightbulb wattage upward mobility click.

Then I got an invitation somehow and someway because I realized I wanted to grow up and have a Pinterest site just like hers.

So I accepted the invitation last night from somebody and checked off the stuff I liked.

All I could think about was Southern Maryland. That is my true interest along with family, friends, books, music and one sometimes Good Golden Retriever.

Then I stopped. I really wanted to think about it before I started pinning.

Then I read this really good article from Chris Smith at Inman Next about Pinterest.

One point was stop, look, and listen. I am peeking around and searching on AR and looking at cool Pinterest Boards.

Then all this stuff happened. Debe Maxwell and Jane Peters and all kinds of Active Rain folks found me to follow me.

I have started looking at their pinboards, too.

Okay, so for now this month I am learning Wordpress, Docusign, Diverse Solutions, and okay add to the list, Pinterest.

Notice how I put it at the end of the list because I think it might move to the head of the Project List if I dabble with it just a little itty biddy teeny weeny bit.

I hear it is a little like Starbucks and chocolate but no extra calories in the mix. What a kick! Localism with a twist!

I am in the R and D stage of Pinterest but put one good Southern Maryland Snowstorm in the forecast fairly soon and guess who might have it all figured out?
