I got the Best Birthday Card...Twice!

Just so you know from the start, my Birthday precedes Valentine's Day but that has given me a lifetime mission.

My goal is to remind everyone that these are separate and distinct holidays and nobody is supposed to forget.

So I did a double take when I saw my Birthday Card from my Brother and my Childhood Best Friend.

Sure as shooting, of all the Birthday Cards on the planet, they sent the exact same one this weekend.

It made me remember something really special.

Many Moons ago, my Dad told me about this really special birthday card he selected for me.

He mentioned it over and over. The big day finally came and I opened the card.

Sure enough, I loved it.

It was a photo of a young woman walking the beach with a caption wishing me the warmth of a summer day for my Birthday.

The only thing was he had given me the exact same card the year before.

We HOWLED! We could not stop laughing.

I still have the card and better yet, I still have the priceless memory.

So it is not lost on me that I got the exact same card this weekend from my Brother and my Childhood Best Friend.
