They Know Where To Find You Maryland Home Sellers

When the real estate market was hot I could activate a listing and within minutes receive inquiries. Whether from the sign, the MRIS, or the Internet, agents and home-buyers knew how to contact me. And they did.

Over the past month I have had several sellers request Washington Post and even New York Times print ads. Now that the market has cooled and the buyers aren't flocking to see the new listings it doesn't mean that they have forgotten how to find us. The same home finding methods apply even more so. Home-buyers are using the Internet to screen and eliminate undesirable homes. Realistic pricing, professional staging and a high quality Internet presentation is what brings the majority of buyers, not newspaper ads or real estate magazines. I have learned to play the percentages and spend my money on electronic media--it benefits home-sellers and buyers the most.

If used effectively, the Internet is the only place a home ever needs to be marketed. Quality photos and descriptions will be greatly appreciated by both agents and buyers and will often be the impetus for a sale. In addition, the ability to accurately quantify how many people are looking at a property online is critical to the process and will save sellers time and money!
