You are thinking about selling your home and buying your dream home. You have decided that you do not want to deal with trying to sell your home by yourselves and have decided to hire a realtor. How do you decide which realtor to hire? There are so many of them. Is there really a difference? Don't they all do the same thing?
This is a common question and I have been approached by many homeowners and homebuyers who felt this way. Maybe a couple of years ago Realtors were just middle men. The real estate market was hot, and it did not take a rocket scientist to sell a home. Put a sign in the yard, and wait for the contracts to come in 24 hours later. Analyze the contracts and accept the one with the highest offer over list price. Things have changed just a little.
If you are thinking about buying or selling a home today, hiring the right Realtor could save you thousands. It is critically important to do your research and interview several Realtors. There are several things to consider when interviewing potential candidates:
1) Does the Realtor practice real estate as his primary profession?
2) Does the Realtor have any special designations or training?
3) Ask the Realtor for a copy of his/her resume? Do they have a resume?
4)Is the Realtor technologically savvy?
5)Can the Realtor articulate his value proposition?
These are just a few things to keep in mind when interviewing potential Realtors. If you would like to receive information on my "GUARANTEED SALE PROGRAM" please visit my website at www.THINKNEWMAN.com
