You done what???!!!

I just had a call from an agent, I will not name any names or companies to salvage their reputation . . .the conversation went like this:

Me: "Fernando here how can I help you?"

Agent 007 ( the 007 is his IQ score) : "Hi, I just left the contract couldn't reach you. ."

Me: "Ok, . .what contract?

007: " The one for your listing in ______ St.

Me: "Ok, thank you and I will review it as soon as I get to my office. ."

007: "Your office? no, no, no. . I left the contarct with the seller and explain everything already. ."

Me: "Come back to me again. ..you presented a contract to my client my seller and explain everything already?"

007:" Yes, he is ok with it, he told me that already."

Me: "wait, wait wait. .why haven't you call me to present the contract to me directly ?. . I'M THE LISTING AGENT!"

007: "I left a message to your phone and you don't answer. .so I gave the contract to the seller."

Question: Has this happen to anyone out there?

What should I do in this case? I would like to hear your opinion

Wow!  No - have not had anything like this happen.  Unbelievable!  I'd pass this on to my broker and then to his broker.

Absolutely get your broker involved.  I can tell you now that this agent is going to claim that you were unreachable, so he was within his right to go to your seller.  But, get your broker involved and have a long chat with your seller.

If this goes through, watch him every step of the way...

Fernando~  If the agent couldn't get a hold of you- he could have gotten a hold of your BROKER- NOT you seller!

Sounds like he need to further his education and leave the cracker jack boxes alone

I'm still speechless.... that agent was way out of line and over stepped his boundries. If he could not get in touch with you, he had the option to contact your BIC as Vickie mentioned but never the sellers directly. I would report this

Definitely get your broker involved!  He could have pressured your sellers into agreeing to the offer since you weren't there.  You just have no idea what he said or did.  Be sure to keep a written log of everything that he says or does!
