A Day in the Life of One Busy Mom

Hi Everyone,

Rob, sorry I have been out of touch. Here is what I've been up to....

1. My son turned 7 yesterday and I took him and 4 crazy 7 year old boys to Putt-Putt Fun Center and then to my house for pizza and cake. I went to bed a 8:30 - teeth still clenched.

2. I've been to my bookclub. We read Water for Elephants and ate circus food while discussing. Wow - that book is great - for all types of readers.

3. I've purchased a Holland Lop for my son's birthday present. The bunny is only 7 weeks old and still is with its mom for another 2 weeks. The bunny will be named Winchester (my son named it after the city near my husband's family farm). My dad and I spent a day this week building a rabbit run. That little bunny is going to have a 8'X3' place to run when we take him out of his hutch.

4. My daughter had her 2 best buds over for a sleepover this week. I ended up braiding their hair in teeny, tiny braids while watching Hannah Montana. WOOHOO!

5. I've been arranging for an auction item on behalf of my wine club. I blogged a little while back about a mom in my community in stage 4 cancer. The community is putting together an auction to raise money in her name for a Komen award.

6. My husband works crazy hours and we are trying to get ready for a week at the outerbanks!

7. I have houses that won't sell - even though they are great homes as great prices. I've been working on open houses and marketing.

I've just been so busy trying to do it all!
