They arrived! Cartons of beautiful books – my book! Fresh from the printer, everything I hoped for and more. Can't help it – I'm very proud of the end result of all those months of planning and writing and revising.
Of course, we had to celebrate with a signing/packing/shipping session. And what's a celebration without chocolate? I was prepared with Baltimore's famous Berger cookies, but my publisher, Peg Silloway, did that one better with homemade fudgey brownies. Yum!

Wow, that must be a great feeling Margaret. Congrats. BTW, I lived in the Baltimore-Annapolis area for 35 years. I left in 2004 and miss the crabs, the Chesapeake Bay, and all my friends.
