$10 Lunch Specials at Saphron Restaurant in Prince Frederick MD 20678

Yesterday, I had lunch with a co-worker at Saphron Restaurant in Prince Frederick MD. The restaurant is located off Main Street in 'The Old Field House' originally built in the late 1800's. Saphron moved to the location in 2010. I had always heard they had great food but never had the opportunity to dine there.

We were not disappointed. In addition to the great food, lunch was a great value, they have a $10 lunch special. The special includes an entree and a salad or the soup of the day. In addition to the items on their daily menu they have a few specials. I had a bowl of the French Onion soup to start. It was very good. I choose one of the specials today, it was a delicious steak salad. The presentation of the food is as wonderful as it tastes.

Saphron uses local produce, they also feature local wines on their wine menu. No wine at lunch today but their sweet tea was out of this world.

Next time you are out and about in Calvert, stop by Saphron's for a wonderful dining experience!
