Tidewater Archaeology Weekend Historic St. Mary's City

The public is invited to work alongside the "pros," sifting excavated soil and recovering artifacts. Discover how archaeologists identify uncovered bits of the past. Take a tour of the lab and learn what happens to artifacts once they leave the site. Tour the living history exhibits and discover how researchers use scant evidence to reconstruct the past.
