Do you live in the Central Maryland area and have ever been at a loss of where to take your young child?

If, like me till just recently, you have never heard of Storyville, then you will appreciate how this is the best kept secret in the area. 

"Storyville is an interactive early literacy learning center designed specifically for children ages birth to fiveand their caregivers. Located in the Rosedale and Woodlawn branches of the Baltimore County Public Library, the child-sized villages include developmentally appropriate books and activities for children ages birth to five. The environments and activities in Storyville are specifically designed for caregivers to help their young children enter school ready to learn."

I have a four year old son who has now decided that Storyville is his new favorite place to go. The miniature village at Woodlawn has so many different activities, there is a grocery store, a post office complete with mail that can be delivered to the other locations, a library, a two level house with a fully stocked kitchen and a laundry area, there is a tram and a tree house surrounded by nature. There is also a baby only area with stimulating toys for infants.
