There's much to see and do in Boothbay, shopping, golfing, boating, enjoying fresh lobsters and steamers to name a few. Boothbay is a quaint village with streets lined with boutiques, old buildings and a picture perfect harbor filled with lobster boats, pleasure crafts of all types, and windjammers.
Rocky shores, island lighthouses, peaceful coves and warm and friendly people who call this home...all welcome you for a visit. We love Boothbay and probably visit twice a year. Years worth of visits have given us a true appreciation of the delights that Boothbay offers...we hope you enjoy our visual tour and the many extra photos we've included.

This year we need to do one of those windjammers tours when we go up over the 4th of July. I can't wait.
Beautiful! I love Boothbay Harbor and your photos perfectly capture its beauty.
Jeff
Thanks Jeff, I really like the Jeff's product and how easy it is to use.
Jay - GORGEOUS!!! I've been to Boothbay several times, but it's been years, and I'd love to go back again. I remember it being a quaint and quite charming little village, and oh the lobster!! YUM - fresh off the boat lobster and steamers. When we (old boyfriend) were there each time, we'd eat so much lobster we felt like we didn't care if we never saw another one........that would change quickly! ;-)
CONGRATULATIONS!
I would like to say thanks to Jeff Turner and his blog post that gave me the inspiration to further enhance my marketing skills.
Congratulations Jay!!!
No, Thank you Maureen I am greatly appreciative of your efforts, this was a blast.
way to go Jay! The tour was really and truly wonderful it's a well deserved honor!
Thanks Carole, we really enjoyed putting it together. This was a last minute thought. I knew we had a lot of nice photos and I knew the competition was strong so we had to do a great job to be considered but I never imagined we would have actually been selected. We feel honored. It is a great program and easy to use.
Thanks for stopping by.
I'm a little late weighing in on this, but I'd like to congratulate you Jay - not only are the photos gorgeous, but the way you put them together to tell the story was very effective, and charming. Made me want to go there (does their Tourism Bureau know about you? ;^) Kudos!
Would you mind sharing what kind of camera/lenses you used? Thanks in advance...
Better late than never is what I always say. I use an Olympus 5060 Wide Zoom with no special lenses and I did not really doctor up the photos.
I think a couple of the photos may have been taken with my wifes Canon SD550 a 7.1 megapixel point and shoot.
Thanks for stopping by Beth.
