Phippsburg and Georgetown Maine May 2009 Real Estate Report

For the month ending May 2009 the mid coastal housing communities of Phippsburg and Georgetown/Arroswic remained for lack of a better word DEAD…with no homes selling for the 3rd consecutive month however there are 5 pending sales in this market currently. Contrasting to a year prior, 9 homes had sold in the March-May time period. A 2nd home dominated market, this segment of the real estate markets in general continues to underperform.
