For the month ending May 2009 Cumberland County real estate saw 270 residential transactions occur at an average price of 257K. In May 2008, 303 homes sold at an average price of 303K representing an 11% drop in volume and 5% drop in pricing. Comparing to April 2009 however, volume was up 47% and pricing relatively flat, up 1%. The current inventory level is at 2874 up from 2760 in April.
