The New Maine Food Map is Just Too Cool!

Anyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE FOOD! Most especially, I LOVE LOCAL FOOD!

How fortunate that I live in Maine...an agricultural wonderland literally spilling over with local food sources.

eatmainefoods.org has just launched the new interactive MAINE FOOD MAP.

Did I mention I LOVE FRESH LOCAL FOOD?

The new food map shows local food sources throughout the state and grows everyday as more providers add their locations to the map. You can find CSAs, farm stands, farms, farmer's markets, CSFs, and community gardens. Zoom in on the map and you will see that you literally can't throw a stick in most of Maine without hitting some sort of local food source.

Did I mention that I just can't get enough of the wicked good fresh Maine food!?!

Have you hugged a farmer today? (I had to throw that one in there. It is the favorite bumper sticker of a farmer friend of mine.)
