Recently Released Housing statistics for Maine

As I type.. 20 plus inches of snow are falling outside my office window! Selling real estate in Maine during the winter is challenging.. this time around even more so! Precipitation/frigid temps/ice/snow... it physically has been impossible to show homes about 25% of the time lately.. this hurts the bottom line :)

Despite all this the real estate markets in Portland Maine seem to be humming along.. steadily and surely. Volume is low, but prices are stable and with so much recent positive public press as of late I am optimistic that 2011 will prove to be a very strong year indeed.
