This moose along with two others were on one of the snow mobiling trails here in Maine. If you go out early enough in the morning you might be lucky enough to see one of these giants.

Sue that must have been one heck of a site. I am sure that it is better to see one going away from you than coming at you ......... LOL
Personally, I prefer the dog. What a cutie!
I wish we had those here in NC!

Hi Sue, thanks for joining our group! We have plenty of Moose in Colorado too, but I usually only see them in Spring. They were all over the place this year. I wonder if they migrate to Maine in the winter ;)
Sue, enjoyed your post....thanks for sharing the moose picture with us.
I love moose. We have seen then in Wyoming
Hi Sue Moose are cool. our house has wetland areas behind them and every spring we see a few back there if I remember I'll take some pictures and post them.
Good Job
Great picture of the moose! I wish we could see more of them in the Lakes Region. Once on came trotting down our cul-de-sac and right through my front yard. It was scary to see him eye to eye. Luckily I was on the porch with the door open ready to run in if he decided to come too close.
My husband was out in the mountains the other weekend and found three moose. A little family.
