Ann Arbor is called Tree Town.
Ann Arbor's "Tree Town" nickname stems from the dense forestation of its parks and residential areas. The city contains more than 50,000 trees along its streets and an equal number in parks. This was not shot in a park but in a neighborhood I was showing homes in on Friday. I thought it was a beautiful tree and was glad the developer didn't cut it down.Soon it will be in full bloom.
A person living in Ann Arbor is called an "Ann Arborvite". I took this on my cell phone for my photo blog.
