What a wonderful idea.    One of these days I hope to have a staging on a home that I can do something similiar.

What a great idea.  Who paid for the prize?

Kathi, I have been talking to several local artist and would love the opportunity to do something like this... just one of those goals I'm working on for this year. I too would like to know more about the trip.

How fun!!  Great turnout!!  Who won the trip?

We have help host several of these events for homes we have staged and it really draws a big crowd!  Through these events, we developed a great relationship with our local Artists Guild and now use some of their art in our staged homes.  Thank you for sharing!

Hi Virginia!

I plan to do this again, but in another area. It was fun!

Cindy:

Thanks! One of the artists also has an online travel business and she volunteered the condo stay (no airfare).

Donna:

The trip is actually a 7-night, 8-day stay at a resort condominium. There are many destinations to choose from. However, I didn't realize that there is a $20 per person charge (maid fee), and that at least 2 people have to go. So, that means the winner pays $280 for a week's stay--not bad, but not as "free" as I thought it was, or how it was descirbed to me. Also, though condos are available worldwide, there is an additional charge for ones outside the continental US--again, something I wasn't aware of.

Fortunately, the art seemed to be much more of a draw than the condo vacation!

Cathy:

The winner was a Brighton resident. But after she found out about the minimal charge, she wasn't interested. So I am contacting another "winner" this week!

Tracy:

Yes, i am also making more connections with my local art guild. Thanks for the visit!
