Anyone who knows anything about me and reads my blog had to know this post
was coming this morning.
For those not in the know (is there anyone in the Metro Detroit area who
does not know that the Detroit Tigers won last night?):
Tidbits of last nights game:
Jeremy Bonderman holding the lead he was given and pitching very well to a
tough Red Sox lineup. Edgar Renteria answering the boo-birds at Fenway in
a special way: 3 hits and 2 RBI's. Marcus Thames looking like his old self with
a powerful 2 run homer. Ivan Rodriguez hit the 2500 hit milestone. Congrats Pudge!
Our much maligned bullpen doing a fabulous job. Todd Jones giving us fans a bit of excitement
in the 9th. (Love him..he is entertaining!)
Coffee tastes sweeter this morning for some reason...

Sorry Chris, I was up to my neck in Penguins hockey last night. They won, They won, They won! LOL I'm not even from Pittsburgh!
Keep the dream alive. !!! It is more like a Rip Van Winkle situation , but I do admire your optimism
Kris thats a record of 1 win 7 losses right.. sorry I'm a red sox fan can't applaud your team unless they are playing someone else's.. GO RED SOX!!
Chris: Hockey playoffs start for us here tonight I believe :-) My son is having a hard time with which games to watch! Enjoy :-)
Charlie: I've been an optimistic Tigers fan since I was 7. Can't and won't change :-)
Steve: Why yes it is! There are also 155 games left in the season :-) BTW, my fingers are crossed that Wakefield is wild
againtonight!Kris, Cool! The Tigers and the Braves are really the only two teams that I follow in MLB. Glad they won. Keep us posted.
I knew you'd post on this! I'm so glad they finally won and got that monkey off their back!
Yes, Roller Coaster Jones made me a little nervous, but he got the job done!
Michael: "Keep us posted" Like anyone could stop me :-))) (This is why I get aggravated when I see bloggers state that AR should be real estate related only...) Somethings you just HAVE to talk about.
Mike: Haha..you knew it was coming :-) A 5 run cushion sure helped when Todd was being adventurous!
Well At least you can find a silver lining in every cloud....or....batter as it may be!!! Nice post.
Go Boston.... ;o) Hey Kris, I like what you did to your blog. I guess I need to work on mine this weekend..
Kris, you can follow the twitter updates for Detroit Tigers and all the Sport Teams in Michigan. I signed up this morning. Finally.....................just had to get their groove.
Gary: I'm a glass half-full kind of person :-)
Jeff: Oh man..another Boston fan :-) (My hubby is one)
Missy: Last night was an awesome game also. What could have been horrendous turned into a brilliant pitching performance by our bullpen. I forgot about the Twitter group. Thanks for reminding me!
