Tourism is often weather dependent and the Memorial Day holiday weekend brought a mixed bag of weather and visitors to the 19th annual Shoreline Arts and Crafts Show at the Tawas City Park Saturday and Sunday.
Considering the weather, it was an average to better than average weekend, said the director of the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce.
Saturday was a drizzly, windy, cool day. Sunday began sunny, in the mid 70s, before turning cloudy in the afternoon and cooling to the mid 60s.
