MI Association of Realtors purchases an Appraisal Management Company.

MI Association of Realtors believes like you do. Appraisers should join us. MAR purchased an appraisal management company called Midwest. The goal is that the lender in MI choose Realtor Appraisers that belong to Midwest. When Midwest puts an appraiser on an assignment, the appraiser must belong to the "local MLS" of that area.

The role out was presented at Achieve and there were many appraisers in the room with questions. Some are speaking against this, they are the people not in attendance while the program was rolled out and explained.
