your friend in Charlottesville
Renee, what a riot. Never heard of this event before, should be great sledding!
Duane ~ This is such a huge event here in Grand Haven. The racers really put time and effort in building the most amazing card board sleds!! And with all this snow we have...should be a fun fun day! There is also a nice warming building with a huge fireplace to keep warm.
Renee, I love it! That is gonna be wild. Make sure you get some photo's for all of us to see.
Renee, one other question, RU gonna have a sled?
No sled for me. I am chairing the event and will busy working it with all the other volunteers. But I will get pictures to share with everyone. Pictures of the cool sleds, best wipe outs, etc.
Renee, cool, thanks. Is that located on the ski hill behind the castle?
Renee~ It looks like it was a blast! Bet you had fun!
Renee, It will be interesting to see if you made it to the event! That's an awful lot of snow they were predicting. I hope it went well and you'll be back with pictures to share.
Alecia & Carole ~ What a fun fun day! We had over 100 sleds in the race, all sizes and designs. Lots of snow made for some great "wipe outs". Everyone had a great time. I did get a couple pictures, but was so busy running around I didn't get as many as I had hoped for. But I will post some for everyone to see.
Renee, Glad to hear all went well. I'll be looking for the photo's
