Have you Noticed….

< Have you Noticed….

Have you seen in your area properties are starting to move lately. I had a client email me five homes last night and 4 out of the five are SOLD. Now as frustrating as that can be it’s also a good thing. Yes there is still an abundance of properties for sale but lately the ones I want to see are already gone. I told her of this fact and yes it bummed her out but I told her there are many more to choose from.

Now with the NAR campaign slogan “It’s a great time to buy” maybe that has started to take effect. No I’m not on that bandwagon but it tells me (and hopefully you) that there are some very serious buyer’s out there looking for a great deal and trust me there is quite a bit to choose from. My advice to anyone thinking on purchasing a home is to make sure you’re qualified prior to looking because the “good’ ones are going fast. Most of them ask for a prequalification letter and 1000.00 earnest deposit. Some people may be cash poor but it still can be attainable. So as I go out here again looking for my client’s dream home I keep my fingers crossed and hope at least one is still around for them. I tell them to never give up.

Life is good!   And we will continue to have ups and downs!   This too shall pass and it may be that things are indeed already starting to look up.   Jerry

It is happening in my area, too, Robert.  Multiple offers as well.  I go through the mls, find some I think my clients will be intersted in and a day or two later when we go to see them, they already have offers on them.  the good ones that don't have offers when we see them have an offer pending in the time it takes to write it up.  this is, of course, only on the "good" ones.  have a summer full of prosperity!

Robert, that's awesome news, lets hope the worm has turned.

Jerry. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Judy. I'm taking a client thru some today. They are moving(the desirable ones) very fast.

Duane. I kinda think it has. Price them right then they will move.

Robert, I agree, the pricing has a lot ton to do with it.

The last 4 months have been more active in central Florida, Rob...
may you recieve some of the market pie in your area!!

Alex. We're not asking for much. Just a little bit more then we are getting. The wheel has to start spinning again.

I've been saying this same thing since spring - if it's a decent house with a decent price, it'll be gone in no time.

Ed. Just today my client wanted to see this house and it was gone.

Robert, We are selling waterfront resort property, however, the phones are not ringing off the hook for our residential properties. Just when I get excited about business picking up, it slows down again. I've been in the business full-time 19 years and don't plan on leaving any time soon. When things turn, and they will, we'll be hoping for time off....we're never really satisfied are we??
