Ford Cars/Trucks and My Real Estate Business

This is A topic that just seems to come up in the Detroit Metro area all the time. What kind of car do you drive?????? Not because of a social status symbol like many might immediately think but because so many are employed here by Ford Motor Company. In my real estate market place it is almost safe to say that everyone is either related too, knows someone, has been affected by or affiliated with Ford Motor Company in some way. For those of you not from Michigan imagine a very one sided economy where a huge company plays a major role in every ones quality of life. The picture you see to our right is the car I drive and yes it is a Ford. Currently the "BIG THREE AUTO COMPANIES" (in my opinion) are the main source of income in one way or another in the Detroit Metro Area. I feel very strong about this topic in general no matter what the product is or where you are from. I do feel competition is good in general as it does make the product line of any product much better. Currently in my driveway I have four cars two Fords and two GM'S, both of my kids have General Motors products.

My point with all of this is to get opinions on this topic.

* Do you have a major employer in your area?

* Do you support you local businesses?

* Do you care where a product is made, particular area's, countries, etc?
