Annual Meeting & Conference
September 4- 6, 2008 - Muskegon, Michigan

  • The only existing network for the exchange of ideas and information on collections, research, publications and developments between institutions and individuals focusing on the maritime history of the Great Lakes.
  • Founded as a non-profit organization by a number of prominent Great Lakes museums, document centers and concerned individuals from Canada and the United States, its first meeting was held in 1984. Meetings are now held annually in a member community.

AGLMH membership provides many tangible benefits to both organizations and individuals. The AGLMH Newsletter and Museum Alert contain excellent, timely information about topics and events of interest to Great Lakes historical organizations and individuals, and AGLMH's annual meeting provides a great opportunity to network with others in the field and to enjoy excellent programs.
