Wanna Buy Your Own Fire Engine?

I was driving to an appointment on a rural road last Friday and saw this fire engine parked in someone's yard for sale. I thought... "Wow cool! I could buy my own fire engine!" It was like the little kid in me came out all of a sudden. I almost stopped.

Then I thought about how my wife would kill me if she found it parked in the driveway when we got home. So I settled for just snapping a photo. Bummer.

Today I am thinking, wouldn't it be cool to go to listing appointments as a Realtor with this baby? All the neighbors would come over to see what was going on, and you could hand out business cards... Imagine using this at open houses? Or have a home inspector who drove this? The ladder on the back sure would make inspecting the roof a lot of fun!

Anyway, if I had some acreage with my house I would be tempted to get this. I am sure I could have some fun with it. It is not the first time I have seen a fore engine for sale, but this has got to be the best looking old classic one I have seen. Thought I would share it with you.
