Crains Business has written that the New Buffalo Amtrak stop will make our area a one hour train ride to and from Chicago. The time table though lacking is not unreasonable and should improve. That one could live full time in the Harbor Country area and work or go to school in Chicago, commuting daily is a very interesting and exciting idea. I suppose the, "if you build it they will come" philosophy rings true for this project, the abundance of vertical housing projects in New Buffalo just might have a chance.
