I've had some requests from home buyers and sellers as to the explanation of various codes found on listings and forms they receive. Below are some typical home status codes. Information for codes was taken from the RealCompOnline Listing Load Manual page 9. Additional information on homes would only be available to the homeowner and their agent. This information cannot be shared by the agent.
On Market Status Codes
NEW: Home is new on the market (for this listing number). Home was placed on the market during the past 14 days.
ACTV: Active Status on market
CHGP: Price of home was changed within the past 10 days
XTND: Listing contract has been extended on the market. Number of days is limited and unknown.
CCS: Contingent status Continue to Show An offer has been accepted with a contingency
BMK: Back on Market Home is back on the market. Usually home a pending sale or contingent sale fell apart.
Off Market Status Codes
SOLD: Home was sold and transaction has closed (sale price should be present)
EXPD: Contract period for home has expired. The home may be back on market under a different MLS number
PEND: Pending sale of home. Usually the period between a contracts acceptance and completion of the transaction by Title Company and lender.
CWTH: Conditionally withdrawn. Home was requested taken off the market by owners, contract period has not ended.
UWTH: Unconditionally withdrawn by consensual agreement of seller and real estate broker before end of contract.
