Michigan Independence Day 2007 Fireworks Locations

Milford area fireworks activities. Start Your 4th of July Early! Sparks in the Park is the annual fireworks show that brings the community together for a fun family event. This year, Sparks in the Park will be held on Saturday June 30, 2007 at Hickory Ridge Pines Park, 4200 Hickory Ridge Road in western Oakland County. There will be live entertainment, children's activities and food vendors with Fireworks at 10:00 p.m. Specific information on events and directions are available at http://www.sparksinthepark.info/

Milford residents can also watch fireworks the same night at Camp Dearborn located near the GM Proving Grounds. Either event should be a good family night. Remember to bring some type of bug repellent, blankets, and cameras.

Every year, thousands of people are injured by either using illegal fireworks in Michigan or not following common sense safety precautions. The following fireworks are permitted in Michigan. All others are illegal.
