I don't have any answers in this blog. Just entertain me if you will!
Is Michigan's glass half empty or half full??
Can we discuss it over a glass of wine? (or a soda, if you so choose?)
I really don't have much to say. I'm just writing on the off chance that someone out there will listen and give me some feedback.
Everyday when I talk to lenders I hear, "you're in Michigan?" Their tone makes me think the plague has hit MICHIGAN and I am running out of time.
Michigan, thanks to mainstream media, is being viewed as a quagmire of problems. Declining values, foreclosures, companies packing up shop and going to the south where the climate is temperate and the employees less costly. Need I say more?
Yes, Michigan is in the rustbelt. Yes, manufacturers have moved out. Yes. We have experienced a lot of ills.
How do you take the temperature of a STATE???

Do you want the SECRET??? The REAL story???
We still have jobs and industry. It is not ALL doom and gloom and by the way, the sky is not falling, chicken little! We have major medical research centers, technology sectors and recreational industries. (We have more but I'm not telling -- you have to come here to find out!)
I spoke to a brilliant young man today who has been researching trends. His research shows
every time there is a disaster good things arise.
The cream always rises to the top!
Michigan is rising as are the GREAT Entrepenuers we have and attract to our state.

MICHIGAN is proud to call itself Great Lakes State.
MICHIGAN is surrounded by the largest system of fresh, surface water on earth, containing roughly 18 percent of the world supply of fresh water. Almost a fifth! Only the polar ice caps contain more fresh water. MICHIGAN boasts more than 11,000 inland lakes and more than 36,000 miles of streams.
MICHIGAN is a bountiful mecca that we love...
In all the sorry reports about my beloved
STATE OF MICHIGAN
I rarely read what an incredible STATE we have...
Imagine! 4 seasons of fun and pleasure.
Boating, jetskiing, waterskiing, snowskiing, shipwrecks to dive, miles and miles of state land and forest -- public land -- to explore and visit nature. Fishing, camping, casinos...
Golfing, biking, hiking...
Snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding....
Waterfalls, abandoned mining operations with history galore.
If you live in California and your kids have never played in the snow....shame on you for not bringing them here!

You can have all this for a FRACTION of what it costs in other states!
It's like a BOGO right now!!! But hurry!!!! It won't last for long!!!!
Check out Pine Bluffs Resort! Income producing property at a fraction of what you would spend in other states!Crystal Mountain Michigan! Golf, Ski, Snowboard, RELAX!!! Breathtaking Shanty Creek!

Did I mention interest rates on second homes are great???? (and a tax write off?)
(yes, we have second homes in Michigan!)
Flights to Michigan are very reasonable! We spend a lot of money on our roads so it is easy to get around!
Come on up and I'll be happy to arrange private tours at any of these resorts!
