Our kids go to Hornung Elementary school in Brighton, MI. It is a great school with many activities and top notch teachers! The PTO has put together some really great ways for parents to be able to mingle and get involved with their childrens education!
This past Friday they put together a Turkey Trot which is a one mile walk/run that parents and children could participate together. Afterwards they had donuts and cider which was a hit for the kids! It was a great event to be able to meet other parents and really see how the teachers interact with the kids! It was truly amazing to see the fun and coroboration amongst all that attended. Get out and get fit with your kids, they need us around for many years to come! Just my thought for the day! Happy Thanksgiving to all! Please let us remember all that we are thankful for!
