Moving Stress - One of the Biggest Stresses on a Marriage

NO, I didn't just buy a new house and NO, I'm not the one moving. But my best friend just did. I know that moving can be one of the biggest stresses on a marriage but what about the best friend? My personal opinion is that it just sucks!

I can say that because she moved from Michigan down to North Carolina. Now, I know that it is supposed to be beautiful down there and they have great weather... blah, blah, blah but she still is moving. I don't understand why that job transfer was so important and why she just couldn't stay here with me!

All kidding aside, I love my girlfriend and wish she didn't have to move but am happy for her as well. She would absolutely shoot me if she knew this lovely shot was on the web. It's the "I'm tired of packing and stressed out look." Oh well, I'll tell her later! (Got to love those shots that you do all by yourself!)

Biggest Stress in Moving

I asked my girlfriend what the biggest stress was in moving. Her comment, "My husband." I laughed but truth be told, moving is one of those times when spouses and/or family members tend to get on eachother's nerves. It truly is a time to be glad for help and thankful for when the process is over and done.

Why are Moving, Buying a House, Building a House some of the top stresses in a relationship... mainly because they all have to do with time schedules. You only have the moving truck for so long. When you are buying a home... will the closing go as planned? When will you get the keys? What's the date that we can set to move? Building a home... Will it be done on time? I could go on and on but basically so many things come into play and there are always deadlines to meet... hence the stress of the situation.
