We Only Play Golf on Days that End in " Y " in Michigan

In the Grand Rapids Area we are experiencing Spring, it is the time of year that

my antsy-pantsy energy can be channeled to the golf course.

Of course, like my title says, I only play golf on days that end in " Y ".

There are thousands of golf courses in Michigan, really. We have more golf courses per

capita than Florida, Arizona, or North Carolina.

Michiganders like their golf.

In Grand Rapids we have 59 golf courses within 18 miles, some are private,

but 48 are either public or municipal.

One of Michigan's top rated golf courses, #10 by GolfLinks & Top 200 in US by Golf Digest,

is a public municipal course - L E Kaufman Golf Course in Wyoming Michigan, which is

about 5 miles (and 5 minutes) from downtown Grand Rapids. A fabulous course which

is part of the Kent County Parks system, is considered a hidden gem.

The private country clubs get more attention but some are not as well groomed.

The Kent County Amateur Golf Tournament is played here every year.

I usually play at my course pictured above, Watermark Country Club, but enjoy a

chance to play elsewhere whenever the opportunity arises.

Terry, around here there is a whole lot of business done on the golf course!  I know some agents who've taken up the game to build their businesses!

Hi Pat: Thanks for hosting the get together last night it was very nice of you to it all together. I have had several occasions to meet people on the Golf course and talk about business.

Terry, too bad you can't play in all the months that end in "y".

Karen: I can it's just a bit More inconvenient and some time a longer commute to the course.

You play golf???? Huh, who knew.  Hope you made it home in good order today from D.C.

Eric:I haven't played in the last few days and it makes me difficult to be around. I just got back from Washington DC. and the mid year meetings of NAR. Several thousand people trying to keep the legislators informed about our issues.

One of the prettiest couses I've seen is the Les Cheneaux Club in Cedarville, UP.

Great view of Snow's Channel and the pine forests!

Frank: Thanks I don't get up to the UP much but good to know
