We read, see and hear such negative stories during the week which chips at our morale and is just depressing. That is why I am dedicating another post just to allow all of us the opportunity to read a positive story or two. I will start!!:
- I was able to get a bank to take a short sale offer. I am the agent on both sides and everyone both buyer and seller are thrilled! My seller will be forgiven for the full deficiency.
- I went away for 5 days and took my wife and kids skiing. I had my very competent assistant, Katherine, take care of our clients and I just played with the family. It was awesome!!!
- My buyer purchased a Foreclosed home, almost 3000 SQFT, with basement for $109,000 in Troy. The not so funny thing is that this same buyer wrote an offer for that same home 4 months ago for $115,000.00 and we were turned down. The banks just do not get it!!
- I just closed on a home for a family member and his new wife. They purchased in a top notch area for ½ of what homes were selling for a few years ago. They are very happy.
- I just picked up a Short Sale client and though her home will not sell for a lot and though I will get very little compensation for it. The seller was so happy that I would help her, it made me feel very good about what we do and that is payment enough.
This was a good week. Please add some of your positive stories.
