Today I ventured out to learn a little something about Ann Arbor, just to my north, and man was I amazed at Ann Arbor Michigan Skylinethe things I found. First some background and history:

Ann Arbor became the seat of Washtenaw County in 1827, and was incorporated as a village in 1833. The town set aside 40 acres (16 ha) of undeveloped land and offered it to the State of Michigan as the site of the state capital, but it lost the bid to Lansing in 1836. In 1837, the unused land was given to the University of Michigan, forever linking Ann Arbor and its history with the university.[3] The town became a regional transportation hub in 1839 with the arrival of the Michigan Central Railroad, and in 1851 Ann Arbor was chartered as a city. Now, more importantly, how exactly can a person even consider a new community without looking seriously at the homes for sale, here's your key location for Homes for Sale in Ann Arbor. In addition you may be looking at one of Missy's favorites Saline MI. There are some terrific Homes for Sale in Saline as well, check out the Celtic Festival.

Saline (pronounced sə-lēn as in Celine) is a city in Washtenaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 8,034. The city is southwest of the City of Ann Arbor and northwest of the City of Milan, where U.S. 12 (aka Michigan Avenue) intersects the Saline River, a tributary of the River Raisin. The city is bounded on the southwest by Saline Township; on the southeast by York Charter Township; on the northeast by Pittsfield Charter Township; and on the northwest by Lodi Township.

The city is popular for its annual Celtic Festival, which is known to attract people from all over the United States. It is also the hometown of the Saline Fiddlers and Fiddlers Restrung, and blink 182 two nationally renowned high school bluegrass/fiddle groups. Saline, whose well-regarded school district is perhaps its biggest draw, is ranked the 42nd best place to live in the United States in a recent CNN/Money Magazine poll, and also made CNN/Money's list of best places to retire.

As a home builder, I kinda like to see the architectural influences in an area, and let me tell you this community has them all! Perhaps the University has influenced Ann Arbor to be extremely diverse in architectural themes.

Relocating can be a harrowing experience or a wonderful adventure, I for one think the real estate professional you choose to assist you can be the defining difference. Missy Caulk is definitely your best choice for relocating to Ann Arbor.

Ann Arbor Fire Hydrant One of 39 Ann Arbor downtown fire hydrants painted by students. This hydrant's artist was in elementary school; others were in high school or college.[50]

I just thought this was fun, something different, not the same ole photo of a house or a skyline. Ann Arbor, with a college town influence, but big city amenities seems to be a pretty awesome place.
