Farmhouse Foreclosure Renovation Saugatuck Mi Part IV

Things are moving along with the Farmhouse Foreclosure Renovation in Saugatuck Township. Saugatuck, Douglas, and Saugatuck Township have a variety of properties from farmhouses and cottages to Lake Michigan Estates. There is something for everyone!

The insulation on this Saugatuck beauty has just been completed and the dry wall (including the floor and interior walls) is going in as I write this.

This is the near rear of the home with the new Andersen windows. The rear of the home faces south and will flood. The sun is low in the south in the winter in Michigan and these windows will allow the kitchen, porch and dining area to be flooded with the low Southern sunlight in the winter.

The transom windows and the little window at the top of the new cathedral ceiling in the kitchen and dining area add a lot of charm.

Just so that you can see the work in progress I am adding photo of the drywall going up.

We are also changing out the old LP tank for a new one. Note the silo and barn in the background. We are scheduled to be done early in May.
