Here is yet another reason to count your blessings this Thanksgiving. A couple of weeks ago, I told you about Noah Biorkman, a 5-year-old terminally ill boy, who absolutely loved Christmas but was not going to make it to Christmas this year. When his family reached out to the community to send Christmas cards (his favorite thing) to Noah, they were overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, good wishes and, yes, Christmas cards they received (at last count, around 1,000,000). Little Noah Biorkman lost his battle with Stage IV Neuroblastoma cancer Monday morning. Noah and his family showed incredible strength and resilience when they didn't ask for pity. They accepted the facts as they were and Noah seemed happy knowing that he was going to be an angel in heaven soon. Make sure you hold your loved ones tight and tell them you love them every chance you get. For you don't know if this may be the last time you have that opportunity. This story is just another reminder to count your blessings.
