Relationships in real estate

I live and work full time in McGregor Minnesota which is a resort town that relies on the weather for it's economic dollars when it snows we say dollars from heaven are coming! Not long ago I moved up to our retirement home not because I am retired or really even close to retiring but it was our choice my wife of nearly 25 years Leane. I moved up north I would say a little too early as the economy took a big Dive and the market started to spin a few years ago.

The one thing I did not consider was moving to an area that had pillars in Real Estate, people who have been here for ever.

I now had to find a Niche and work it, But I still did nor realize that this area was a very tight nit group.

I learned the hard way thinking that with all my experience as an agent and as a Broker would lend a hand in my success in this new market. I will tell you we all need to have a list of people we respect and we need to have those people respect us! I believe we all need to have a core group of people that want to see us succeed.

How on earth do we find this? Even the people who we think want to help us. Do they really want to or are they just as busy as we are trying to keep there heads above water as well. I am always trying new things but it all boils down to one RELATIONSHIPS.. we all need them and desire them.
