101 and road construction!

Have you driven down 101 from Rogers to Elk River lately? It's certainly an improvement from over a year ago. The overpasses have made a huge difference in getting traffic from one side to the other. They are currently working on the last overpass of the stretch and that's at "downtown" Otsego. The lights are about to go and traffic is about to free itself from stopping and bottle necking.

Over the next decade they will be making plans to adjust the lights and stops through Elk River on the adjoining Hwy 169! What freedom drivers will have when it's all done! This will mean smoother drives for commuters and faster driving on weekends for those traveling north.
