Elk River Minnesota Hosts Major Snocross Race Featuring Some of the Best Racers in the World

I plan to attend this event. It will bring about 10,000 people to the Elk River area next weekend so be prepared.

The ERX Motorsports Track is located just north of Elk River on Highway 169 if you plan on attending. There will be on-site parking with shuttles available for those needing assistance. Parking and shuttles are free.

My son has just started racing, but there will be no snocross in his future. It is just too hard on one's body.

The ERX Motorsports track in Elk River will host its first national snocross event March 9–11, 2012.

The ERX ISOC National presented by Heinen’s Arctic Cat will feature the best snocross racers in the world, including Tucker Hibbert, Ross Martin, Robbie Malinoski and Tim Tremblay.

“The National ISOC points race is tightest it’s ever been, the action will be intense,” according to a press release on the event.

There will be pro autograph sessions from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 10.

The track for the event will be the biggest racetrack in the history of ERX — huge jumps, grueling whoop sections and more — high-speed, bar-to-bar action.

One of the reasons ERX was chosen is great visibility from anywhere on the track. There is also ample bleacher seating available and the opportunity to bring one’s own folding chair to get up close to the fence.

A band (Boomtown) will be playing country to ’80s rock after the races conclude both Friday and Saturday evening for an after-race party that will run 9 p.m. to midnight both nights with free admission.

The cost to get into the races is $15 on Friday, $15 on Saturday and $10 on Sunday, or $25 for a weekend pass. VIP packages are also available for $65. Visit www.isocracing.com or www.erxmotorpark.com to purchase tickets online.
