Random acts of kindness!

Has anyone ever walked up to you and said you have a nice smile or perhaps a person you did not know just smiles at you for no reason? I all my life have for some reason have done these things for people like holding a door open for a stranger at the grocery store even though I was in a hurry!

One day my wife and I had dinner at a small resort on Big Sandy Lake and we really took to the waitress her name was Sarah a new mother at the age of 19 and struggling with bills and just life in general. I remember it was around Christmas time and I my self did not have a whole lot of cash my self for present ect. But for some reason this young mother had made an impression on us.

When it came time to get are check are bill was around $14.00 or so I gave her the 14.00 and left a $100.00 in the folder for her we left and wished her a merry Christmas.

The next time we went in she got tears in her eyes when she saw us because she was able to buy her new son a few gifts and get caught up a bill she was worried about.

You see when you do a Random act of kindness you are doing your self more good that to the person or people you do it for. Try it and see.
