Hooked on soaps?

In some ways this could be more monumental than the millenium threats.
It's not a "what if" situation but a "matter of time" situation.

If you are hooked on the latest soap opera you won't want to get stuck in the dark.
Maybe it's the "Buy my house" shows that you watch in hopes of great ideas in selling yours.
Or maybe the next live football game?!?!?!

With high definition television quickly coming our way we have to look at the options.

1. We can ignore it and head outside when the tv dies....

2. We can wait until the channel is dead and make a mad rush to the store in hopes that there are still some tv's left to buy.

3. We can take advantage of the rebate coupons being distributed by the gov't and get the converter box now.
