Realty Executives Celebrates 10 Years

While the Competition is Closing it's Doors, Realty Executives Midwest Celebrates 10 Years of Growth

Mendota Heights, MN (Grassroots Newswire) December 11, 2008 -- Realty Executives Midwest will be celebrating 10 years of being one of the most innovative and fastest growing real estate franchises in the industry. The Region will be hosting an event at the Realty Executives Midwest regional office in Mendota Heights on December 18, 2008 for past and present Executives, vendors and friends to come celebrate and meet the Realty Executives Midwest team.

The Midwest Region of Realty Executives was purchased from its parent company, Realty Executives International, in 1998 by Joseph LaManna and Greg Bauman. In the past 10 years, they have sold franchises all over the upper Midwest and promoted agents to Executives. The Region has received countless awards for their contributions to the real estate business including earning the Circle of Excellence award for the past five years from Realty Executives International. Earlier this year, the Region experienced a crucial change in ownership as LaManna took over leadership of Midwest Regional Development in order to move forward through the recent economic changes.

"With the housing and financial markets in uncharted waters, I know the teams of Realty Executives International and Midwest understand the need for our undivided attention. It is reassuring to work with competent professionals that understand the value of the relationships we have with our clients. Knowing that time passes and markets change, we embrace the opportunity ahead of us," LaManna said.

In the past few months, there have been a number of real estate companies that have shut down in the area, however Realty Executives has continued to see positive growth in an unstable real estate market. Since 2007, Realty Executives Midwest has added six new offices including branching out into North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. New Executives join the Realty Executives Team every week, and the Regional Office has added new support staff for its 26 offices located throughout the upper Midwest. In addition to John Engel, the Midwest's Regional Manager, who has been with Realty Executives Midwest since it's inception, the Region has added Doug Mc Elrath who joined Realty Executives two years ago as the Regional Relocation Director, and Deanna Kennedy was promoted from Executive to Director of Franchise Sales and Support. In the last four months, Amanda Hanson was hired as the Regional Administrator, and Linda Tschida came aboard as the new Director of Communications, Marketing, and Public Relations.

With 2009 upon us, it is unknown what the future of real estate will bring us. With the new support staff and all of the systems and tools Realty Executives has to offer, look forward to the challenges the New Year may bring.
