Frost on your eyelashes

Is it a regional topic to talk about the weather? In places where the weather does not fluctuate much, do they say "Cold enough for ya?" or y'all? or you? As I look forward to the 40 degrees today I am excited and it is still winter. We can enjoy skating or sledding without freezing our toes off. But I have to admit I am one the braggarts about my cold weather outings, like "fish stories" they are little embellished. Do you remember as a kid waiting for the bus and the only thing showing was your eyes? And getting frost on your eye lashes? That happened to me this year, not only because of the extreme cold, but because I was outside for longer periods of time walking a new puppy. My advice bundle up when it is cold you will enjoy it more if you are not in pain.
