The second annual energy expo in Elk River will be taking place on April 19th, 2008 at the City Hall from 10:15-1:00pm.
This is a great place to learn what's going on in Elk River to go "green" and to help with conservation and recycling.
There will be activities for the kiddos and tours for families to the Elk River Library (which was built from recycled materials) and also to two other off campus locations.
I invite you all to come and check it out! What a great learning experience for the whole family!

Lindsey, saving energy and electric bill is a goal. I never thought I would say this, but remember when your mom used to say we don't own the electric company, well now it is my turn.
Frank - I am endlessly finding ways to conserve electricity. :-) We have a very low bill which I love!
