Never before have first time home buyers been able to receive such an incentive for buying a home!
You have to agree it is a fabulous thing to be in the shoes of a first time buyer. Interest rates are incredibly low, and no you do not necessarily have to have money down. You can still get the $8,000 tax credit and get a 100% loan.
Are you eligible? Here are the facts-
1. You must purchase a home this year for the tax credit to apply. (Now-Dec.19th 2009)
2. Your income must not exceed $150,000 (for a married couple) $75,000 (for a single person)
3. You must live in the residence for 3 years.
4. This tax credit is available to anyone who has not owned a home in 3 yrs. (that could be you?)
5. Do you have to pay it back? No. A couple days ago the tax credit was for $7,500, paid back over a period of 15 yrs. Now it has changed to $8,000 that you do not have to pay back.
Use this extra money to buy furniture for your home, pay some bills, and celebrate. Or, whatever you like!
This is a great incentive and I hope many buyers will take advantage of Branson's low prices, low interest rates, and high inventory of homes. Many homes that are available are in the lower bracket price ranges of 100K-200K, have your pick of lake homes, starter homes, and condos! Let's get started today!
A special thank you to Tuesday Blair at Arvest Bank for helping me provide this information for you!
Her number is 417-243-4323. Please her to get pre-approval and more information on the tax credit.
