Family Share Day in Phillipsburg MO; Empowering Women Project in Missouri; Sandy Sipes The Empowering Women Mission Project will have their next Family Share Day on Saturday October 25th, 2008, opening at 8:30 am. This event will be held in the fellowship hall of the Phillipsburg United Methodist Church in Phillipsburg MO.

Family Share Day is similar to a very large garage sale - except - all items are FREE. Clothing, household items, toys, books, etc will be available to the community. Everyone is invited to come and "shop" for their family. Membership in the Phillipsbug United Methodist Church is NOT required; no proof of income required.

Sandy Sipes is the coordinator of the Empowering Women Project in central Missouri. In addition to the Family Share Day, Sandy meets weekly with other women dedicated to assisting their communities. She also coordinates a local food pantry and the Kids Club in Phillipsburg MO. (Sorry Sandy, I know this isn't doing you justice!) The video below allows Sandy to tell you more about what she does and the focus of the group.

Donations of items may be brought to the church from 4 pm until 5:30 pm on Tuesday October 21st, 2008. You may call Sandy to arrange a different drop off time if October 21st does not work for you. Or if you are in Lebanon and Laclede County; Marshfield and Webster County; or Buffalo and Dallas County, call Sandy at 417-589-3113 to arrange a time to pick up your items.

Any items used in a household setting, especially clothing and baby items are greatly appreciated. ** Please do not leave items outside the church.
