COMMING SOON!

As a disclosure, I KNOW this is not a good professional photo (everyone who knows me, knows I am all about being professional!) The News Leader did a very nice front page add in this weeks paper. They will e-mail me their picture and I will edit this on Monday.
I am so excited about all the work that has gone into getting this new business up and running. I know the people of our town are going to be thrilled to see the doors open. We have our local Apple Butter Making Days coming up in Oct. What a great community event it will be adding a new business to the roster.
Consider this your sneak peek into the before and after (remember it is still in progress) I will do a more formal interview with the owners before the Grand Opening.

The BAYs for BOOTHS are about done. I can't wait to see what types of vendors bring their wares.
The front of the store will house the dollar shop items,- This market will have all my favorites, misc. items, antiques, crafts, hobbies, dollar items, auto supplies, books, and more. The only thing I don't see yet is an auction schedule (hint hint)
Someone call Pepsi to get a machine in here and we are good to go!
How long do you think they will let me store my SOLD sign in the window?

Congrats to all involved, what a fun new business for our lovely town. Glad I can share a peek- be good

Cheryl - any quilters in the new store???? Keep us posted on the progress, please!
Captain, I have heard there will be at least one. I am considering letting someone rummage through my stash and see if we can package up some scrap-to-do kits. I don't want my great-great-grand-kiddos upset that I didn't leave them enough piles to have to burn. just kidding. I do like fabric so any quilting stuff for sale probably won't be from me. (YET) Did you like my opening photo? I am working on getting a good shot facing the sun! be good cw
I did like the photo - I think this is very exciting. And what a great blog source once all the booths are occupied!!!

Congratulations Cheryl on your part in bringing this new business and their new revenue to Mt Vernon MO! It'll be fun to watch the progress and see the "after" photos. I bet if you keep blogging on their store your SOLD sign will be allowed to stay until opening day!
Deb, I have offered a couple of times to take the sign out, but Chris said he wants everyone to know that this is HIS, he is so proud of being the one to re-do this building. Thanks on the congrats- I really enjoy doing the 'little bit different' type of the real estate business. Don't get me wrong, I love the normal 3 bed 2 bath properties too. There is something challenging about the outside the box ones though. My favorites are when clients take the time to really let me know what excites them and then give me the flexibility to make it happen. Gotta love a win-win. be good cw
I agree 100% Cheryl - I thrive on the "outside the box" transactions. They make the world of real estate much more enjoyable. Especially when you can do what you did - bring a new business, new people, new revenue to town. I think it takes a special kind of agent to do the transactions you enjoy - some agents do not enjoy anything but the traditional.
BTW, do I get a mug or something for guessing what shows up at the top of your beautiful photo? Took me a minute, but is that your FINGER Cheryl??? <G> Trying-to-be-good Debbie
When I get the professional picture from the newspaper, I hope to get a couple mugs made for an opening gift. YES that is my pinkie! Read somewhere that agents don't take time to get professional shots- thought this was funny (come on- the sun was straight in my eyes)- All PRO all the time - cheryl
Gotta tell you the store is on Market and Main streets in MT Vernon, and I suggested small packets of M&M's with a store label added to use as a marketing item. Thought it would be neat at the register. This will be one of my favorite local-ism posts for a bit. cw
FYI, my daughter and I caved in and reserved a booth. check out #155 when you are in MT VERNON. She is using her part as a flea market, let's get rid of stuff. I am hoping to cash flow on a few crafts I have been making. We'll see who the business major is in this family. - cheryl(it's always a competition)willis
