Great News for Kansas City Home Buyers! The President has announced that he will sign the legislation tomorrow. As a result, all existing homeowners that are eligible for the new $6,500 tax credit and close on the purchase of a home after tomorrow (which means starting Saturday at 12:01 AM) will be eligible for the new tax credit For first-time homebuyers that are eligible for the continuing $8,000 first-time homebuyers' tax credit, the credit will simply continue as it currently exists with a few tweaks on the income limits. I have provided a link to some Frequently Asked Questions from NAR on the new credit. Please let me know if you have any questions.
