One evening an old man told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego."
"The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith." The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?" The old man simply replied, "The one you feed."
I know people are stressed right now, but that's why it's important that we be kind to one another as often as possible. :)

Pam, I really like this. I'm going to starve the bad wolf from here on out.
Pam - what an inciteful post. We had a discussion the other day about how we should strive to be nicer to each other during negotiations. Thanks for the reminder.

Hi Duane! I know. My grandmother used to tell me this old tale all the time..thought it really spoke a lot about how some people are feeling helpless right now and we need to all be kinder to one another.
